The aims of the course are:
to increase the awareness of the safety issues relating to lone working
to explain the arrangements for identifying, evaluating, reducing and managing risk associated with lone working
to explain procedures and safe systems of work which are designed to eliminate or reduce the risks associated with lone working
to highlight the importance of providing training and support to lone working employees that equips them to recognise risk and provides practical advice on safety when working aloneto reduce the number of incidents and injuries to employees related to lone working and explain the need for full reporting and recording of all adverse incidents
