Map Your Muscles: Muscular Anatomy and Physiology Review (6 CEs)
It may have been awhile since you've been in school, or it may be more recent. What we can all agree on is that muscle review is always necessary and wanted. Why? Because massage school happens so fast, and muscular anatomy and kinesiology is an in depth subject that involves a lot of memorization. We as therapists have the luxury of no longer testing. So now we have time to get the knowledge into our hands and into our brains in the most fun and interactive ways possible.
For this muscular anatomy review class, We have paired it up with an in depth Yoga Stretching Class for a two day, all inclusive muscular knowledge palooza. Not only will you be able to self treat and interact with your own, and your client's musculature, in a new and different way. The knowledge you learn in this new interactive and Fun way will stick in your neurological pathways faster and stronger. This knowledge will build your hand skills, client rapport and your overall body knowledge. What more could an active therapist and Amta member ask for?
This class will involve: interactive lecture with plenty of art, Hands on work of drawing and palpation of specific muscles, and we will be up and moving to illuminate joint movements. LF
