The Hudson Elks Club and the Hudson Public Library will host its 3rd Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival at the Hudson Elks Pavilion on August 11 at 2:00 p.m.
The events raise funds for college scholarships supported by the Elks Club.
In addition to the planned hot air balloon activities, the Elks Club and The Hudson Library have planned festivities and entertainment for the entire family.
Live music, food concessions, demonstrations by the State Police K-9 Unit, an Animal Adventure show, Moon Bounce, Face Painting, vendor concessions and more are planned for the day.
The event will feature an evening balloon glow where the pilots will ignite their burners as night is falling, creating an incandescent glow of the huge tethered balloons in the night sky.

6:00 a.m. 1st Balloon ascension (lift off)
2:00 p.m. Field events/entertainment

6:00 p.m. 2nd Balloon ascension
