I visit Studio Movie Grill a month ago and have a totally awesome experience. The theater is beautiful and I love the way they are different style of seating. I looked at the menu before going in, so I knew what to tell them what I wanted. My waitress was very nice and my food was very good. I enjoyed watching the movie on the screen. It was very peaceful and the movie was the bomb. I saw Inception. I can't wait to go again and enjoy the experience. I notice today that my church singles group has picked Studio Movie Grill for our next movie viewing. The whole area around their is simply beautiful....

I drive 40 miles round trip to see a movie here. No better picture or sound in Houston other than this theater. So spoiled by it that I won't even go to see a movie at the Edwards which is about 2 1/2 miles from my house. Food is ok, not great and the servers...some are well trained some not, but it's all about the movie. LOVE the reserved seat op[tion now.

We went to the show and hoped to order food and drinks -- the waiter said "Sorry - I do not have a light for you to read in the dark " -- and I cannot go get you one -" so we sat there without any food or drink -- bad way to treat customers

I realize this is a new place so I'm not going to give it a 1 star. Let's just say my visit was bad. From food that tasted like plastic to a digitally presented mess.
It started with our order being wrong and being almost unedible. Oh well, it's new so the bugs have to be worked out. What I can't excuse is the feature presentation. It was obviously digital cinema done WRONG!! Dark image with screen door smear and sound that was badly muffled. Hope they read this so they may improve because I want this theatre to survive. Great idea. Just one of the unlucky ones on a night of mishaps. Fail.
