The MFAH house museums—Bayou Bend and Rienzi—kick off spring with a two-day gardening extravaganza. Spring House and Gardens Days (held the weekend after River Oaks Garden Club’s Azalea Trail), showcase the flora and fauna that populate the celebrated gardens of both mansions. The dual-property event features programs for adults interested in various aspects of gardening; activities for children; and tours tailored to the respective gardens.
