Kid Pan Alley & Peter Pan-the 1924 Silent Film

MacGregor Elementary School students will perform songs they created in a week long Kid Pan Alley music residency program. Then, Miller Theatre joins the Houston Cinema Arts Festival with a special screening of "Peter Pan," the original 1924 film considered one of the most beloved film spectaculars of the Silent Era. Legendary silent film accompanists Donald Sosin and Joanna Seaton and Kid Pan Alley music director Paul Reisler perform their own score with vocals, keyboard and percussion.
