Big Read

The Big Read, a national initiative to promote reading classic literature continues in Terrebonne Lafourche, Assumption, St. John the Baptist, St. James and St. Chrales parishes. Now through June pick up a free copy of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby at the Bayou Waterlife Museum in Houma, Tuesday through Friday from 10am-5pm. Look for the displays at area libraries, and locations throughout Region 3. The “Big Read” is sponsored by The Houma Regional Arts Council.
