Course Description This two-day weekend course will introduce Physiotherapists to utilising real-time ultrasound as an adjunct to their clinical diagnosis. A pre-requisite of basic real-time ultrasound operation is assumed. Throughout this course, participants will learn the sonographic appearances, landmarks, anatomy and common pathologies of the:
Rotator cuff
Elbow
Hand
Hip
Hamstrings
Knee and thigh
Ankle and foot
As well as:
Dry needle imaging and guidance

Use ultrasound to assist their diagnosis
Understand sonographic soft tissue injury grading and return to sport
