An after-party for Freq Show will be held at Cafe Sarang, 746 Ilaniwai St., where Elevate residents will be spinning, along with a special guest or two. The talent: TheFatRat: The most dangerous thing about TheFatRat seems to be the fact that it has been active but undiagnosed for several years already. The quarantine report states that it started spreading somewhere in the club scene in Germany. First traces can be found in Munich and Berlin, where it was hiding behind DJs and projects. Compilations like "Ministry Of Sound - The Annual," iTunes, Beatport and even the billboard charts were suffering from it without knowledge of its existence. TheFatRat should be considered highly dangerous and infectious. http://www.facebook.com/thisisthefatrat http://www.soundcloud.com/thefatrat Karasho: Representing the perfect alliance of melodic electro-house and dub style bass-lines, this dynamic Italian has been plugged in constantly for the last two years. Karasho released over sixty tracks in 2011 and gained a strong following for both his original songs and remixes alike. Behind the decks, the masked DJ has become infamous across Italy and France for pounding sets with progressive breaks. His remix with Italian rockers Subsonica bridged genres with his signature heavy hitting bass. Originally making a name for himself with his expertise in the studio, Karasho built his reputation on audio engineering and original sound design. Armed with masks and vocal synthesizers, his studio prowess took YouTube by storm, offering stellar bass tutorials that even Skrillex perked up his ears at. After releasing on some of the world's best up-and-coming labels, Karasho has hit the road. With one North American tour down, fans are begging for more. http://www.facebook.com/Karash0fficial http://www.soundcloud.com/middlefingermusic Dottkom: John Zeidman (Dottkom) is a DJ/Producer from Toronto, Canada. He moved to El Paso, Texas and almost immediately became submerged in the local music scene. After long years of performing guitar and drums in local bands, he experienced House music. With a changed perspective and a new-found love, he put down the sticks and picks and has been killing the decks since 2008. His style is a barrier-breaking combination of Progressive and Big Room House, Electro-House, Trance, Dubstep and Drum & Bass. In 2011, John was signed to Primal Filth Records with other artists including Figure, Fast Foot, Ariok, and Soulfix. In early 2012, John linked up with the Legendary Industrial group MINISTRY, nailing two official remixes for their single releases "Double Tap" and "Blood Lust", which released on Al Jourgensen's 13th Planet Records. Dottkom has shared the stage with names like Hook N Sling, Bassjackers, Lucky Date, Diplo, AraabMUSIK, DJ Fei-Fei, J. Rabbit, Vaski, Dieselboy, Lady Faith, Bare, Revolvr, Messinian, Darksiderz, Tara Brooks, Martin Parra, Protohype, Numbernin6, Crizzly, Lazaro Casanova, Lazrtag, and more. http://www.facebook.com/Dottkom http://www.soundcloud.com/dottkom Ariok: In 2007, Ariok exploded onto the scene from Colorado's bass music culture and began his journey into the underworld of bass. Within three short years, he had become known across the globe for his tight production skills and live, genre-blending sets. In recent years he has shared the stage with Dieselboy, Messinian, Numbernin6, Bare, Crizzly, Run DMT, Bro Safari, Moth, AFK, Beazt, Badbwoy BMC, Evol Intent, Nerd Rage, Bokator and many others. http://www.facebook.com/ariokmusic http://www.soundcloud.com/ariok BeatSlacker: Immersing himself into the electronic music scene at an early age, Beatslacker began created his unique sound in 2004, meshing Big Room House, Progressive House and Electro House with Trance abd catching the attention of the industry's elite. BeatSlacker has since played extensively across the United States and has held residencies at five different venues throughout Texas and New Mexico, including his time on the decks at the world famous "Lizard Lounge" in Dallas. K-Dose embraced his passion for happy hardcore and hardstyle dance music in early 2005, but getting gigs was challenging for the new DJ, so he began organizing and running his own bush raves. His persistence and dedication paid off, and soon he was recognized at night clubs on the sunshine coast like 240 Maloolaba, The Rolling Rock Noosa and Uni Night Woombye, and in the Brisbane scene, where he played at venues including Rockafellas and Planet. K-Dose became a much sought after DJ and in 2009, toured the US with DJ S3RL, playing alongside some of America's favorite dance DJs, including Impact, TX300, No Left Turn and Smartyz. https://soundcloud.com/k-dose www.myspace.com/dj_k_dose Tickets are available online at http://elevateedm-eorg.eventbrite.com .
