The public is invited to Pacheco State Park April 5 for Wildflower Day, 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
A Birding Walk starts at 9:30 a.m., a Wildflower Hike will depart at 10 a.m., and a Pacheco History Walk will start at noon. Tours are for a limited number of people. Sign-ups for these are first-come-first-served the day of the event. Visitors can take a Self-Guided Hike on their own to a beautiful view of San Luis Reservoir and the Central Valley. Come visit any time that day to enjoy the flowers, information tables, and picnic area. D & J Catering will have lunch and beverages available 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. All Wildflower Day visitors will receive a free Pacheco State Park Wildflower Day Button.
