Let's Get Ready for Maple Sugaring

The nature center has been a licensed maple syrup operator for 6 years now. Join the staff to explore the origins of maple sugaring starting with the Native Americans, pioneer methods as well as a view of what is done today to make that sweet stuff from the trees. We will have spouts (spiles) for purchase for those wishing to make their own. This is intended to be a "how to" class, so please bring your questions. Fee: $3 or Free for Friends of DeGraaf .
