Finally choosing Savannah, Georgia as his home after 15 years on the road, Eddie has seen all of the USA and many different countries as music director, singer/songwriter, and pianist. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Eddie went to Ohio State University before hooking up with 60's hit makers The Vogues, beginning a long and wonderful musical story. Eddie spent time in commercial recording in Cleveland, doing jingles and custom music… Show more for BP America, American Greetings, and television's The Guiding Light, among others (thanks Melina!). On the road playing piano for Tony Orlando Eddie learned firsthand how powerful and wonderful live music can be. Since then he has devoted the rest of his career to facilitating the finest live performances and events, with great success. His original music and orchestrations have recently been used at the G8 summit in Georgia and the 25th jubilee for Pope John Paul II in Toronto, and he maintains a successful recording studio in Savannah, while performing regularly around town and regionally. Until recently Eddie served as Musical Director for the Savannah Theatre, and has orchestrated and conducted many of the shows there. He currently serves as Music Director at Charleston Music Hall (Moranz shows), and in 2011 directed both the Johnny Mercer Birthday Celebration and the hugely successful Picnic in the Park in Savannah, where 20,000 people were treated to a concert by Strings of the South, Eddie's most recent endeavor, a 22-piece ensemble featuring orchestral strings. Eddie still produces backing tracks and orchestrations for a number of artists and organizations large and small, and he's currently working on his second full-length original musical, and a CD to be released in 2011 called Come out Swingin'.
