elin o'Hara slavick's "After Hiroshima"
The Daylight Project Space is pleased to announce an exhibition of photographs by elin o'Hara
slavick. In 2008, slavick lived in Hiroshima, Japan for 3 months, making cyanotypes, rubbings
and autoradiographs of A-bombed artifacts from the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
archive. Slavick's intent is to make visible that which has disappeared as a result of war, with the
hope that we remember and learn from history so we do not repeat it.
