The Gospel Jubilators in Concert

This all-male vocal group based in Durham performs a cappella music highlighting vocal traditions of the golden age of ’30s and ’40s gospel. Using “only the instruments God gave them,” the Jubilators have kept the Jubilee tradition alive going on 40 years. But clearly, sharing the music is not just a means of keeping an older gospel style alive; it is a ministry.
Opening the concert will be the St. Matthew’s Women’s Singing Circle.
