“Jamaican Me Laugh” will be performed in this gorgeous theatre and features the brilliant comedy star Matilda, Jamaica’s No. 1 Comedienne, and her sidekick, Second City trained, Patrick Murray. This laugh filled, multi-cultural show highlights the sassy, vibrant observations of this hip comedienne.
The show is being presented by Richmond, Virginia’s own John Howell of Stage Door Studio who has traveled the world for nearly two decades presenting entertainment. “When I first worked with Matilda and Patrick Murray, I couldn’t believe it, “ says John Howell, “I just couldn’t believe they kept audiences laughing for 90 minutes non stop. They get more laughs than anyone I have ever seen!” Howell’s company, StageDoor Studio, has teamed up with Rojas Talent Group to produce this family series of live shows and are very excited to present this dynamic comedy duo to the audiences found in the Richmond area.
Matilda and Patrick Murray have been performing for English speaking family audiences worldwide for the past two decades. They were voted the “Funniest Act at Sea,” by the cruise line industry and later this year will be featured in Las Vegas. When not performing for audiences around the world, Matilda and Patrick divide their time between Miami Beach, Florida and Vancouver, British Colombia.
