Passalacqua Winery is family owned and operated in the historic Dry Creek Valley.
Though their name and winery may seem new to Dry Creek Valley visitors, Jason and Noelle Passalacqua actually represent the fourth generation in a family tree dotted with grape growers and vintners. Jason’s great-grandfather Francesco, an Italian immigrant, began the Passalacqua tradition in the early 1900s when he owned and operated Fitch Mountain Winery, one of Healdsburg’s earliest wineries. After his passing and the loss of the winery in a fire, his widow Rachel purchased the Oliveto Winery just up the road and willed it to their daughter Edith. By the 1940s, Edith had reopened this winery under the Passalacqua banner, a milestone honored today with a picture of Edith’s original label on every bottle of Passalacqua wine.
