Public Reading With Local Writer Maria Ochoa

Participants of the Library's Writers' Group present samples of their work, along with featured guest María Ochoa, who will present excerpts from her memoir-in-progress, Adventures of a Brown Biscuit. María Ochoa’s books include Russell City; Shout Out: Women of Color Respond to Violence; Creative Collectives: Chicana Painters Working in Community, and Enunciating Our Terms. The recipient of multiple awards and distinctions, Dr. Ochoa teaches writing and history at San José State University.
