Vision Board 2013 - If you can see it, You can achieve it!!!
The workshop will be held at:
La Quinta Suites & Inn, 20777 Hesperian Blvd, Hayward, Ca (510-732-6300)
Saturday, January 19, 2013
10am - 2pm ( Please arrive at least 15min. before workshop starts. Doors will open at 9:30am we will start and end on time)
You will need to bring:
A pair of scissors
A stack of 5 or more magazines
Brown bag lunch ( light snacks will be provided) (We will have a "working" lunch)
It is important that you prepare… Show more the following in advance:
Think about and write down no more than 5 goals that you would like to see yourself reach this year! ( No less than 3). When you do this be sure this is something that you actually see yourself doing. You can bring items such as photo's, advertisements and quotes that are reminiscent to the actual goal this will assist in the process.
This can be in the following areas:
Spiritual i. e. perhaps you may want to pray daily, or keep a gratitude journal, commit to attend church or bible study weekly....
Physical i.e. perhaps you may want to lose weight-have a reachable goal (20lbs in a year) or exercise 2x's a week, or become vegetarian....
Professional i.e. go back to school, train towards new position
Personal i.e. committ to date more, meet a new love, meet with a therapist....
Financial i.e. Get out of debt, buy a new car, buy a new house etc...
What I will supply:
YOUR Project Board and the following,
Glue sticks, tape and tabs
Color pens / color pencils / crayons
Scrapbook papers and embleshments etc..
Light Snacks and beverages
Soothing music to inspire creativity
What is a Vision Board?
Vision Board is a collage representing things you would like to attract to your life. You can cut pictures and phrases out of magazines or print the from websites and include your own photos in the collage. You glue the images and words onto a display vehicle like a poster board and place it somewhere you can see it on a regular basis. Seeing it regularly causes you to remain focused and thus bringing your vision into fruition.
