Holy Eucharist with chalk being distributed so people can go home and bless their own homes, a northern European custom. 20 + C + M + B = 13. On one level, this is Caspar/Gaspar, Melchior, and Balthassar, names tradtionally ascribed to the wise men who followed a star from the east to worship Jesus. On another level, the initials stand for: Christus Mansionem Benedicat, Christ Bless Our Home.
