Practical Parliamentary Procedure Workshop

This workshop, presented by the Metairie Association of Parliamentarians, is going to be taught by professional and highly skilled practicing parliamentarians all credentialed by the National Association of Parliamentarians. If you want to learn Robert's Rules of Order, you need to sign up for this workshop!
Among other things, you will learn how to properly determine votes, get the basics on making motions, and cover the fundamentals of chairing a meeting. Additionally, you will get then some practice… Show more either presiding or participating in mock meetings supervised by our expert presenters to give everyone tips on meeting do's and don'ts.
The price for the workshop will cover instruction, all course handouts, refreshments, and a 3 course lunch. (If you have any special dietary needs please let us know and we'll do what we can to accommodate.) For convenience to attendees, additional books will be available for purchase.
