Boating Safety Course
Taught by the U.S. Power Squadrons: "Organized in 1914, USPS is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to making boating safer and more enjoyable by teaching classes in seamanship, navigation, and related subjects." Classes run Thursdays 6:00-8:00 for 8 weeks, open to adults and students over 12 years, $50 materials fee covers text, plotting tools and exam. Completion of the course meets the national requirements for boat operation in all states. To register call Ron Mason: 468-4824.
