Bandoleros have been storming stages in the Chicago area and beyond since their formation in 1997. Truly redefining the term 'multi-cultural,' members of the seven-piece band have Assyrian, Venezuelan, Cuban, Ecuadorian and Russian roots, and sing in six languages: Spanish, English, Arabic, Italian, Greek and Turkish. Initially they drew inspiration from artists such as the Gipsy Kings and Tito Puente, and has since fashioned a unique sound based on the music of Caribbean and Mediterranean cultures.
