Comic-drama by award-winning Michigan playwright Kim Carney-a slice of life, as seen through the eyes of Maxine, a woman with Alzheimer’s Disease. This compassionate and very humorous play depicts events and emotions, of patient and caregiver. Based on Carney’s own experience of her mother in a nursing home. Laugh over Maxine’s adventures. Shed a tear or two in this heartwarming play. Grosse Pointe Theatre presents Moonglow at Purdon Studio Theatre in its Michigan community theatre premiere.
