Jan 27, 2008 - terribletink on John Oliver
John Oliver - best stand-up ever

I've seen a lot of stand-up (hey, I've got a stressful job and need the laughter outlet)and John Oliver was the funniest ever. A very smart and topical routine - extremely well put together but still spontaneous at the right moments. This is political satire at its best - not snarky or lazy at all. He's got a very informed world view and uses it well. If he comes back to SF, go see him!!
