Now Are the… Show more Foxes (Charlotte)
"Oh jeez, a bio. Okay. How many words is this supposed to be? Ugg. Alright, well...we do improv. That's obvious right? We also do sketch and musical stuff but let's keep it simple. We strive to be a theatre of the heart... where honesty, human connections, and respect for our fellow performer is the basis of everything that happens onstage. How many words is that? Crap! We are very, very, very funny. All the money we raise goes to local arts organizations. We're from Charlotte. Oh! We just performed with Kevin McDonald from Kids In the Hall. That's kind of a big deal, right? We also performed with James Best..."Rosco P. Coltrane" from The Dukes of Hazard. I love that guy! What else, what else? We'll prolly do mid-form. And someone will likely get tazed onstage. We're dangerous like that.
Human Fireworks (Charleston)
HUMAN Fireworks is Charleston’s only group performing the longform improv style known as The Harold. Every show begins with a warning that “it’s about to get weird,” and Human Fireworks delivers. Combining abstract movement and sound with inspired scene work, the 6 person team creates a unique hilarious experience that stretches the boundaries of an improv show. There’s one thing you can guarantee with Human Fireworks, it will be a show you’ll never forget.
