Stranger to Neighbor Congregations Initiative

We are  happy to announce the launch of a new FaithAction initiative this fall –  Stranger to Neighbor Congregations.  According to Men’s magazine, Greensboro is the second most religiously devout city in the United States.  If Greensboro is to become a model interfaith, multicultural and immigrant-welcoming city, faith communities must take the lead.  This innovative initiative seeks to educate and equip faith communities to build bridges across lines of culture and faith, and to live… Show more out the shared value of welcoming the stranger throughout Greater Greensboro. 
 
Congregational United Church of Christ has generously agreed to host a launch breakfast on Wednesday, November 28 th  at 9am for clergy and congregational leaders to learn more about what it means to become a  Stranger to Neighbor Congregation, and to discuss opportunities for interfaith and multicultural cooperation, immigration education, and taking action to create an equitable and welcoming city.
