HASTINGS Will To KILL
As a member of the Hastings family, you have been invited to attend the reading of Jonathan Hastings' will. During this musical murder mystery, you may wish you had never met these key figures:
*Bumbling Officer Brighton Early claims to be from NYC, frequently confused yet quite confident he can solve the problems that arise during the evening
* Preston Hastings, silly and seemingly harmless, sings at the mere mention of a word reminding him of a song, insanely possessed with creating huge Broadway “rooms” in the family mansion
* Miranda Hastings, the totally self-absorbed mother of Preston, who has likely ruined him with her life long obsession to become another Angela Lansbury
* Molly Hastings, niece of Jonathan Hastings, talks frantically on her cell phone, bakes bad muffins, bounces off the ceiling with exhilaration one moment and seethes with fury the next
* Whinny Mae Hastings Daze, grimy distant relative from Texas, desperate for some cash, a new truck or any truck, and a man
* Happy Daze, Whinny’s eight year old son, a dirty little fellow who happily shares treasures found while dumpster diving but oddly has bigger ambitions
* Benjamin Arnold, attorney for Jonathan Hastings, reader of Part One of the will before Jonathan arrives to read Part Two
*Jonathan Hastings, family icon, builder of an empire in fashion design, has invited close and distant family members to this dinner for the purpose of reading Part Two of his will while quite alive and well
* Angelica Madison, beautiful tall blonde who appears congenial until several guests set her off with some less than tactful remarks
It’s a mystery! Who is harmless and who is to be feared? Will you be one of the lucky ones not to be seated with the dusty Texans or with a bozo who can’t stop singing? Will you be forced to do the detective work when everyone could be in danger? Could You be one of the victims!?
