Angela M. Smith Director, Strategic Purchasing
Angela M. Smith is the Director of Strategic Purchasing at Bissell Homecare Inc . She is responsible for leading a team of purchasing professionals in developing and executing strategic sourcing plans and ensuring early supplier involvement in new product development. This span of control includes managing Initial, Chemical, and Indirect Purchasing. Ms. Smith joined Bissell Homecare Inc . in August of 2012 and is focused on driving the Purchasing team to source parts, goods, and services at the highest quality and the lowest total cost for the enterprise. Prior to joining Bissell Homecare Inc . she worked for The Home Depot where she gained extensive experience in Strategic Sourcing and has worked in Procurement for the last sixteen years. During her tenure at The Home Depot, she was able to deliver $61M in total value savings.
Adrien Lewis Director, Chemical Packaging
Adrien Lewis is the Director of Chemical Packaging at Bissell Homecare Inc . In this role, he is responsible for leading the manufacturing team to develop, produce, and ship high quality floor care consumables worldwide. Adrien joined Bissell Homecare Inc . in August of 2008 and has successfully increased the profit margin of consumables by increasing production efficiency while making strategic capital investments and reducing cost in the department. Prior to joining Bissell Homecare Inc ., Adrien spent 7 years with Miller Brewing Company in Ohio. During his tenure at Miller, he held 5 different engineering positions and was an official taste tester. Adrien left Miller Brewing Company to become a Production Manager at Spectrum Brands in St. Louis, Missouri. At Spectrum Brands, he successfully ran 3 plants producing lawn and garden consumables for about 3 years; he was the youngest and the only person to serve as production manager for all 3 plants simultaneously.
