Basic Botany Class - Tuesday - April

Enjoy an interactive, fun and fact-filled evening designed to prepare you for success in your study of Colorado's flora. Participants will be exposed to basic botanical terminology, taxonomy and ecology as we navigate a botanical key and explore some of the more useful bits of the primary reference for field botany in our state, Colorado Flora, Eastern Slope, 4th Edition. 
Registration:  This class is open to anyone on a paid registration basis.  Class size is limited, so register early.
Native… Show more Plant Master:  This class is recommended for those new to botany or for anyone taking a Native Plant Master course.  (It does not count toward certification as a Native Plant Master for accepted volunteers.) 
Required Text:  Colorado Flora, Eastern Slope, 4th Edition by William A. Weber and Ronald C. Wittmann.  (This book can be difficult to find, so please purchase early at area bookstores, online or from the publisher, University Press of Colorado, www.upcolorado.com.)
