The Alton Symphony Orchestra presents: Isn’t it Romantic? Laura Garritson Parker, a native of Elsah, IL, joins the ASO for the first half of the concert to perform one of the best known and most loved concertos of all time - Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1! The second half of the concert features Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8, evoking the music and beauty of his native Bohemia, where trumpets never call to battle – only to the dance!
