Rodriguez is the rock icon who didn’t know it. He was more popular than Elvis, but the humble 70s singer-songwriter didn’t know about his fame in South Africa for 40 years.
A Swedish filmmaker heard about Rodriguez and decided to shoot a documentary about him called “Searching for Sugar Man.” The film, now captivating audiences across the country, has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary.
Doors open at 7pm; Show begins at 8pm.
