On Saturday, January 26 at 2:00 pm, the Glendale Library, Arts & Culture department will present a FREE concert featuring legendary Los Angeles guitarists John Pisano and Barry Zweig, followed by a screening of the festival-nominated documentary film Jazzography in Black & White.

The event will take place at the Glendale Central Library auditorium, 222 East Harvard Street, Glendale, California, 91205.

There have been few jazz musicians as modest and self-effacing as John Pisano, an excellent guitarist who has often been quite happy to be in the background. He started playing guitar when he was 14 and, after performing in an Air Force band (1952-1955), he gained some recognition as Jim Hall's replacement in the popular Chico Hamilton quintet (1956-1958)....
