With special guests Keith Urban, Sammy Hagar, LeAnn Rimes and Gary Allan.

With the 2nd biggest tour of 2007 – behind the Police’s two decades in the making Reunion Tour – and over 1 million fans played to for the 6th consecutive year, Kenny Chesney wanted to do something even bigger for his 2008 Poets & Pirates Tour. Having enjoyed sell-outs in 6 NFL Stadiums as part of his award-winning Flip Flop Summer Tour, the three consecutive and reigning Academy of Country Music and three-time and current Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year is upping the ante: announcing 13 football stadiums, with possibly more to come.

Contemporary country star Kenny Chesney didn't have the immediate breakout success that many of his peers enjoyed upon signing with major labels, but gradually built up a significant following via hard work, pop-friendly ballads, and a likable, average-guy persona.
LeAnn Rimes
LeAnn Rimes Remove performer from this event
In 1996, LeAnn Rimes burst out of nowhere with her debut single, "Blue," which immediately captured the attention of country fans across America. It wasn't just the fact that her rich, powerful vocals were remarkably similar to Patsy Cline -- it was the fact that Rimes...
Gary Allan
Gary Allan Remove performer from this event
Gary Allan hit the honky tonk circuit in his native Southern California at the seasoned age of 12. Playing in and out of the smoky, sweaty bars with his dad's band led Allan to follow in his father's footsteps and start his own band.
Keith Urban

Born in New Zealand, Keith Urban learned to play guitar as a six-year-old in Australia, after a young woman asked to place an ad in his dad's shop window offering guitar lessons. His parents made a deal with her that they would advertise in return for lessons for their young son.

Good ol' Country Boy!

Being from the south, I enjoy music which speaks to the heart. Every song which Kenny Chesney sings does just that. He just has that down-home attitude which makes his music very believable. "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problems" is one of my favorites! Only Kenny could sing a song about a "tractor" being sexy!

Vancouver

I just saw him for the first time and i am blown away....i was just a "normal" fan before, but now i am over the top. It is has changed me, just knowing he is in recovery and hearing the hope and faith in his songs inspires me to continue my journey of recovery. Thank You Keith for your inspiration.
