Concert By George Winston

Playing to an overflowing crowd at The Center in March 2009, George Winston returns once again to perform many of his renown solo masterpieces in his trademark melodic folk piano style. Included in the performance will be songs from Gulf Coast Blues And Impressions – A Hurricane Relief Benefit, his seasonal favorites Autumn, December, Winter Into Spring and Summer, as well as his Forest and Plains recordings. He will also play some of Vince Guaraldi's Peanuts pieces, New Orleans R&B piano, stride piano and more. As at all his concerts, he will have a canned food drive to benefit a local food bank. Please donate non-perishable canned goods to the concert.
