Located on the second story of the Berry House, in Geneva's Third Street shopping district, Le Berry Bistro serves up a full menu of French and American bistro fare. Well-spaced tables, decked in red and white linens, line up in the restaurant's two simply decorated dining rooms. In the main room, sunlight streams in windows and French doors. Two spacious decks provide seasonal seating. The kitchen specializes in quiches, salads, steak, seafood, sandwiches and pastas. Lunch favorites include the Bistro Melt, English muffin halves topped with seafood salad and turkey, and the Chicken Provencale, a provolone-and-eggplant-topped chicken breast on a baguette. In the evening, diners call for Shrimp and Crab Florentine, a seafood and spinach pasta dish; Chicken Normande, an herb-crusted chicken breast and crab combination; and Filet of Beef Boursin, a cheese-and-garlic stuffed filet.
