Firewheel Town Center Kicks Off Hometown Holidays

Area shoppers and families are invited to gather in warmth for the second annual Hometown Holidays Celebration and Tree Lighting at Firewheel Town Center.

Firewheel Town Center’s Hometown Holidays Celebration, a five-week event featuring live holiday performances, complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides and holiday-themed children’s events, will kick off with its 40-foot Christmas tree lighting event on Saturday, November 22. Family-friendly holiday events will continue every Saturday through November and December.

Programming includes live performances by Dallas Metropolitan Winds, Lakeshore Symphonic Winds Orchestra, KLTY’s Christmas Concert series with music artists Kari Jobe, Nicole Sponberg and Mandisa from American Idol. Complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides will be offered every Saturday from 6 -9 p.m.
