Welcome to Bernardo's restaurant located in Galveston's only historic beachfront hotel. Hotel Galvez and Bernardo's opened June 10, 1911. Both were named after the 18th century governor of the Louisiana territory, Count Bernardo De Galvez. Through the years Hotel Galvez has served many famous entertainers, sports figures, politicians and presidents. We are proud to count you among them.
