The Groovaloos won the first season of Superstars of Dance on NBC in January 2009. This dance competition, hosted by Michael Flatley (Lord of the Dance), pits masters of various dance genres from eight different countries against each other.
The Groovaloos collaborated with creators Bradley Rapier and Danny Cistone to present the critically acclaimed theatrical stage show entitled, GROOVALOO.
Based out of Los Angeles, the award-winning… Show more Groovaloos are a group of performers who bonded over the years from a love of freestyle and hip-hop dance.
The Groovaloos' first official performance together was in April 1999 at National Dance day in Los Angeles, where Debbie Allen was the host.
GROOVALOO is based on the true stories of the members of The Groovaloos themselves. It brings you inside their personal struggles, hopes and dreams as they traveled to Los Angeles discovering their purpose and destiny as a group.
