The Florida Museum of Natural History will open a new gallery exhibition, “Panama: Tropical Ecosystem,” on Aug. 9. Focusing on Panama’s biodiversity and the importance of nature to Panamanian culture, the free exhibit includes photographs, stereographs, plant illustrations and books highlighting the rich diversity of flora and fauna in the land between North and South America. Developed by UF’s George A. Smathers Libraries, the museum will display the exhibit through May 31, 2015.
