"Anne Braden: Southern Patriot"
"Anne Braden: Southern Patriot" is an exploration of the life and legacy of this American civil rights leader. After being charged with sedition for attempting to desegregate a Louisville, KY neighborhood in 1954, Braden used the attack to turn herself "inside out" and embarked upon a lifetime of racial justice organizing matched by few whites in US history. Braden died in 2006 leaving a remarkable legacy as a grassroots organizer and mentor to three generations of social justice activists.
