May 1st is National Law Day. This year’s theme is “American Democracy and the Rule of Law: Why Every Vote Matters”. Law in the Library: Top Ten Voting Myths: Putting Them to Rest - Speaker Peg O’Connor, Esq., will lead the conversation, which will cover a brief history of voting and elections in the United States, myths and arguments that tend to dissuade citizens from exercising their right to vote. Current topics such as the purging of voter rolls and Q&A time will be included.
