Join a Paynes Prairie Ranger on a gentle walk of approximately 1 mile that will take you to the edge of the Alachua Sink and the prairie marsh. It is suitable for those who aren't ardent hikers. The pace is slow and comfortable, and your guide will stop and talk along the way about what you see and Paynes Prairie history. Begins at 9am at La Chua Trailhead. Call the Visitor Center 9am-4pm for Reservations 352-466-4100. No Pets.
