The Hippodrome will host the second annual Community Voices public theatre event on Monday, April 23 at 6 p.m. This year’s theme is Monologues on Change. Residents of Gainesville and surrounding communities are invited to write monologues that explore a character’s journey toward change. To prepare the monologues, there will be a free “Finding A Voice” writing workshop on Saturday, February 18 at 12pm with instruction by theatre professor and playwright, Dr. Charlie Mitchell.
