Stephen C. O'Connell Center

Gale Lemerand Dr and W. University Ave, Gainesville, FL, 32611
(352) 392-5500 - Venue Website

The Stephen C. O'Connell Center is home to the Back-to-Back NCAA Men's Basketball Champions. The Gators won their first championship game at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis on April 3, 2006; they defeated the UCLA Bruins with a final score of 73-57. The team brought home the national title, again, in 2007 with an exciting 84-75 victory over Ohio State at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. These victories, combined with consecutive 2005, 2006, and 2007 SEC Tournament Championships, make this one of the most exciting moments in Gator Men's Basketball history!
