Gainesville Ballet Theatre Presents: 32nd Annual Matinee Performance of The Little Match Girl

The Gainesville Ballet Theatre, as part of its 36th season, will present one of our community’s most celebrated holiday productions, “The Little Match Girl,” an original classical ballet in 3 acts. Set in the Victorian period, this enchanting ballet is based on the story by Hans Christian Anderson. This year marks the company’s 32nd annual performance of this beloved Gainesville tradition. The GBT, a pre-professional regional ballet company welcomes guest dancers from the Orlando Ballet.
