After forming in 1989, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones made their self-titled debut recording in 1990 by playing a "blu-bop" mix of jazz and bluegrass. Since then, they have become a commercially successful, critically-acclaimed and award-winning band.
At the 2008 GRAMMY Awards, Béla Fleck and the Flecktones won a GRAMMY for Best Pop Instrumental for their holiday album Jingle All The Way.
Jingle All The Way features everything from the sparkling banjo-harmonic arrangements of Christmas Time Is Here and River and a Tuvan-inspired, world beat performance of What Child Is This /Dyngyladai to fiery, virtuosic renditions of Sleigh Ride and Danse of the Sugar Plum Fairies and many more.
