Meet North Carolina Artist William Mangum, music by Ed Stephenson

Meet renowned N.C. artist William Mangum for an art sale and book signing. Ashley's will showcase Bill's newest prints and paintings, along with, his new book of N.C. landscapes, "North Carolina Beautiful". Bill will discuss his art and informally demonstrate some of his painting techniques.

About William Mangum
William Mangum, one of the most popular and respected watercolor artists in the region, is a native of North Carolina. Bill and his wife, Cynthia, have lived in Greensboro for 30 years, where they raise three children. He received his Associate in Arts Degree from Sandhills Community College and a Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts Degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

While still an art student at the university, Bill held his first exhibition, in which he sold out. By 1978, Bill published his very first limited edition print entitled "West Jefferson" which sold 500 copies.
