"Horatio/Ophelia" by Nanete Maki-Dearsan will present a solo exhibit which continues with her reference of Hamlet's Ophelia that speaks to the de-romantification of adolescent girls. Other pieces follow a contemporary young "Ophelia" through the Central Valley referencing heroin addiction. This exhibit includes large scale oil paintings/drawings and some smaller works of art.
