Artists' Repertory Theatre presents Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show, opening on Halloween night and running through November 22nd.
This is the live stage version - not a recreation or lip-synch of the movie! ART's Rocky is the classic rock & roll musical with a fresh new style. Directed by Daniel Chavez Jr., the show will feature a live six-piece rock band and some of the best singers, actors, musicians and dancers in town. I had not seen the original movie and frankly (furterly) I had some misgivings about the theme of the show. Was I suprised! This was a night to remember! The band and cast sounded as good as any concert I've ever been to - real top notch and the acting was way beyond what I would expect from Fresno. This is a show that belongs on a much larger stage. Well worth the ticket price and certainly worth seeing again. Definatly the funnest show I've seen in Fresno in a very long time. Highly Recommended!
