A Trip Back in Time

Saturday, Jul 13, 2013 10:30a to 12:00p

Revive the vanishing knowledge of the history of the
Don Edwards Refuge grounds by strolling the trails
with docent Ray Studer. Using a collection of old
photographs, the last vestiges of a way of life such as
salt production, the old railroads, and homes can be
traced back to the 1850s that led to the construction of the town of Newark in 1876.

*Children under age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
*Trails are generally level. Please call for accessibility information.
